Oh Pinterest. You so crazy. A pizza crust made out of cauliflower? What’s next? Miley Cyrus twerking? Wait…
Well, I guess it was worth a try. I’ve been hearing about this nonsense for a while, and you know what? It’s not bad at all. I mean, it’s not pizza. If you’re looking for that sinfully glorious pizza “crunch”, look somewhere else. But if you’re looking for a surprisingly tasty platform for which to display your pizza toppings, this is not a bad alternative at all.
The pros: Low carb and super fun to make. My husband and I spent about 40 minutes total delicately prepping this recipe and double checking to make sure we wouldn’t end up with baked cauliflower soup.
The Cons: Cauliflower pizza is not crunchy. Maybe a little bit on the burnt edges that have cheese on them, but as a whole, this pizza is pretty flimsy. It’s also pretty stinky, as cauliflower usually is.

Still looking for the ultimate pizza substitute, but for now this’ll definitely do. Overall not too shabby.
